Important Consideration Regarding Infrared Illumination

It’s essential to note that when the Axis Q6135-LE is mounted behind our enclosure’s dome lens, the built-in infrared (IR) illumination should be disabled. This is because IR light can reflect off the enclosure’s dome, potentially causing image degradation. To maintain optimal image quality in low-light conditions, consider using external IR illuminators positioned outside the enclosure or relying on the camera’s low-light capabilities without IR assistance.​
