Return Materials Authorization (RMA) Request

BY CLICKING THE ‘SUBMIT RMA REQUEST’ BUTTON, YOU AGREE TO THE BELOW ‘RETURN POLICIES’ AND ‘RETURN PROCEDURES’:

RETURN POLICIES:

  • X Stream Designs warrants its enclosure systems based on a 1-year limited warranty from the date the item shipped. Warranty will be voided if merchandise shows signs of physical damage.
  • X Stream Designs standard return shipping includes UPS/FedEx ground services.
  • The RMA department will not cross-ship if the customer has outstanding un-returned merchandise.
  • If a cross-shipped product is not returned to X Stream Designs within twenty-one (21) days, customer authorizes X Stream Designs to charge customer’s account for the replaced unit or part.
  • Credit is only approved for unused items in original packaging up to thirty (30) days from the date of purchase. No advanced replacement is allowed after this time.
  • Customer is responsible for the shipping costs of RMA item(s) shipping to X Stream Designs.
  • All products returned for repair or replacement must be properly packaged using suitable packing materials to prevent damage during shipping. Improper packing can lead to further damages and additional costs.
  • X Stream Designs is not liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to; lost profits, downtime, goodwill, damage to or replacement of equipment and property.
  • For Return Shipping Information, you must include Company Name, Contact Name, Address (No PO Boxes), Telephone and Email Address for Notifications.

To expedite the RMA / Warranty process, please let us know with as much detail as possible the issues you are having and what you have done to troubleshoot thus far.

  • “The system doesn’t power up!” or “My enclosure isn’t reachable” are examples of poor issue descriptions.
  • An example of a detailed description: “My enclosure is not reachable at the default IP Address. I’ve made sure that the enclosure is powering up by observing that the system light is blinking and the ethernet connection from my network is showing a solid link light on the switch port of the system tray.” Along with a detailed description, it is recommended to upload photos.

RETURN PROCEDURES

  1. A response to the RMA Request is typically received within 24 hours Monday – Friday.
    If the RMA is approved, an RMA number will be issued via an email response from support@xstreamdesigns.com.
  2. Print the RMA number clearly on all mailing labels and on the outside of the shipping container or box.
  3. X Stream Designs reserves the right to void the RMA and not accept the return if the item(s) to be returned are not received within twenty-one (21) days from the date the RMA number was issued.
